DescriptionThis is from the first original Flash Gordon story published in a comic book, other than the Macy's giveaway. All previous stories were reprints from the Alex Raymond newspaper strip. This is pencilled, and probably inked, by Paul Norris, who was the co-creator of Aquaman.This is a nice page showing Flash in action, and posing with a Ray gun. An interesting note about this page is that while the cover of this book is "173," this page says "F.G.O.S. #172" in the bottom left margin. That means "Flash Gordon One Shot" and apparently this was slated to be Four Color issue #172. But it was moved back a month. Social/Sharing |
