DescriptionThe realization of a VERY long search. It was almost a perfect storm of perfection for me--my favorite characters drawn by one of my favorite artists and written by the master, Alan Moore. The story, the visuals and the question at the end all served to make a truly great graphic novel that stands the test of time. I could gush on an on about what a beauty this page is, the line work, the inking but the art speaks for itself. This page isn't the best one in the book...but it is one of only 8 with both Batman and Joker. It is the only one with everything though, Joker using his acid gag to get away, Batman using his utility belt to counter-act the acid, the fun house door and Jim Gordon being saved. Was it pricey...OFF THE CHARTS but was it worth it...YES!!!.I am so pleased to share this. Big thank you to my wonderful wife for understanding I am insane and my friends Joe(s), Ron, and Chris for sharing my insanity. Social/Sharing |

I go back and forth on the story itself, but the art is impeccable.

A fabulous page. Among the many highlights: The inking, the composition, the dynamics. Well worth the price, I am sure.

It's one of those rare pages that sort of unites collectors. It's a singular page everyone remembers but that also fully defines one of the most important comics of all time. This is something special, congratulations on getting this.

The killing joke is as close to perfect example of modern sequential art that I can imagine. Alan Moore has written many great albums of course, but none have been executed as perfectly as Bolland's Killing Joke. Not only is the drawing exquisite but the way Brian moves the camera around is still unlike anything I've ever seen. He's a master visual storyteller. No artist could have visualized this script as Brian did. This page is a modern masterwork. congrats and thanks for sharing, it's great to see the original. Bolland's brush work is second to none
