Pencil and ink on thin cardboard. Size: 14,4 x 20,1 inches. Signed and dated. Excellent condition. Original comic art drawn by Crepax for "Emmanuelle" published for the first time on page 91 by Olympia Press in 1978. Crapax's art meets the Arsan's scandal novel in a work that celebrates sexual emancipation, by telling the story of the erotic initiation of Emmanuelle, with a dreamlike Orient as the background. More than a precise succession of vignettes, the panel itself, divided into many geometric shapes like a Mondrian Painting, presents itself as a significant unit that follows only one rule: eroticism defined as a cult of pleasure freed of morals. .

Tavola originale realizzata da Crepax per "Emmanuelle" edita per la prima volta a pag. 91 dalla Olympia Press nel 1978. L'arte di Crepax incontra il romanzo scandalo della Arsan in un'opera che celebra l'emancipazione sessuale, raccontando l'iniziazione erotica di Emmanuelle, sullo sfondo di un Oriente carico di atmosfere sognanti. Più che una successione ordinata di vignette, è la tavola, divisa in varie figure geometriche come un quadro di Mondrian, a presentarsi come unità significante seguendo una sola regola: l'erotismo definito come culto del piacere liberato da qualsiasi morale.
