DescriptionAfter being discussed numerous times on the Felix Comic Art podcast the last couple years, look what I found at Rose City Comic Con. I told Erica I thought she should keep it, and she said it bounces back and forth between the keeper pile and the sale portfolio. It bounces no more...Social/Sharing |

Congrats on locking down the one that almost maybe could have gotten away. It is a fun piece.

Congrats, Andy! It's a nice homage. I'm glad we can close the book on this one!

I laughed out loud at this. Not at the art, but because you created the Felix Comic Art interview "Squirrel Girl" audio meme, and I was there for it. A few bourbons in, as I recall—but there nonetheless.

To paraphrase Harry Truman, "I don't tell people to go to hell, I just show them where they are, and they realize they're in hell." But seriously, we've had follow on podcast discussions about Squirrel Girl blowing up, and those guys are always like "Yep, heard it from Andy first." Of course Lamb follows with "But you're still an idiot," because that is how the world works... :)

My buddy Anders would give his left acorn for this page. He turned me onto the book right after it came out. It's neat, fun stuff and I like how EH draws.

Yes - fun art and a great book. I find it interesting to see her style adjust to the subject matter - If I was a Wicked/Devine fan, I would have picked up her variant cover in half a second

Yup it's very clear that she's a fan of comics. The first issue, the one with Kraven the Hunter, reminded me so much of Ditko and ASM #15.. I thought it was great homage.
