Description

A sort of She-Bond and for sure one of the most beautiful and sexy heroines in comics.
The character was created in 1963 by writer Peter O'Donnell (1920-2010) and artist Jim Holdaway (1927-1970), who graced the strip with his sharp and elegant style from the beginning until his untimely death.
This strip is from the story "Top Traitor", from #744 (1965-09-20) to #873 (1966-02-19).
Great setting, with Modesty (disguised as a folk dancer), Willie and other two well-depicted characters. You gotta love that last panel :)

A volte mi chiedo .... se Alex Raymond o Dave Stevens, o lo stesso Jim Holdaway fossero vissuti più a lungo, chissà quanti altri CAPOLAVORI avrebbero creato ... di queste opere mai venute alla luce mi sento un pò orfano ...
