Description

In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of future events, including a great battle, foretold as the ultimate end of Asgardian civilization and the death of major figures like Odin, Thor, Heimdallr, Loki, Balder and Fandral.

John Watson's incredible painting features Thor, Loki (female form), Balder, Fandral the Dashing and Hogun the Grim in the great battle. Bold composition, intense colors and action-packed details would make Odin proud! Published in Watson's sketchbook but originally painted as a cover.

Watson is an incredible Artist and is paint are always a joy for the eyes. Thor shines, but all other characters either do it! Flaming pick!

Poor Asgardians can't catch a break. They had just been restored from death and already had their new Asgard destroyed! Awesome depiction of Thor in his modern armor. Congrats!
