Description

Rex the Wonder Dog auditions for the Legion of Super-Pets. He attempts to rope the shape shifting Proty II, who has taken the form of a butterfly. The faces were all Jesse Rubenfeld�s idea: encouraging Comet, oblivious Streaky, attentive (at least to the rope) Krypto, and not too impressed Beppo.

In addition to his rope, Rex brought some other props from his adventures: a camera, a parachute, and a fishing rod.

Based on Curt Swan�s cover of Adventure 322, featuring Proty II�s initiation into the Legion of Super-Pets.

You were kind enough to give me a preview and I loved it then. Time has only increased my admiration for Jesse's artistic skills ( And Rex's skills are not shabby either )
