Description

The posts over the last couple of days have been building to this: All the Marvel characters (from Mandarin to She-Hulk) all crammed together over six boards to make a five foot block of comic art! I used my rusty photoshop skills to see if the three consecutive covers would connect, and it turns out that they match quite well.

I keep saying how Hannigan was a powerful poser, but look at all of those dynamic figures! Flying, falling, and all ready for action. I haven't bothered to count them yet, but what an assembly of characters it is. Someday I'll print some copies & make this thing a reality. Until then, I'm proud to share this image with the world.

Mr Fantastic wrapping around the left leg of Galactus, suggesting that the covers link up vertically, too.

I believe the proper term is Triple Wrap-Around Cover !!! It's a keeper. Ed actually had all 12 (?) issues connect to make a gigantic poster. You have one of the "rows". This is a perfect example of why Ed was one of the best cover designers in the 1980's, working for both Marvel and DC. Congratulations on a great addition to your collection. Cheers! N.

Some of the best letters you can pick on "Wheel of Fortune" make for a fantastic connecting piece! Very nice!
