"My Millet" (2000)
by Jeffrey Catherine Jones
12 x 16 in, oil on canvas

Circa 2000 Impressionist oil painting by Jones, done as a tribute to the great French painter, Jean-Francois Millet, a master and founder of the Barbizon school movement. Millet specialized in scenes of French peasants and their life and culture. Jeffrey named this painting "My Millet."

One in a series of larger sized and later career Jones painting in an impressionistic style that I have been fortunate to obtain.
