A great X-Man Steve Skroce page that I have owned for a very long time.

Critics can say all they want, X-Man written by Jeph Loeb and later Terry Kavanagh was a fun title and especially when blessed by great art by Steve Skroce.

This show how great an artist and storyteller Skroce is with attention to details such as the face of the girl being overshadowed by the huge Abomination in the first panel. So huge in fact that the panel can’t contain him fully which increases his ominous presence.

Then we have Nate being attacked by the Abomination only to stop him mid jump in the great splashy central panel which was of course my incentive for buying this page. I absolutely LOVE that second panel where Nate is such a badass at using his telekinesis on such a powerful foe.

And to dispose of him with seemingly such ease in the final panel in which we can really feel him impacting the wall.

A great artist who I am glad to see producing new work at Image.

Totally agree! Some intricate work here, especially in that second panel! A great Skroce example. Congrats!
