Love the texture of the painting. Was the final touched up on computer? Seems like some elements (the moon) are better defined in the published piece?

As I recall, I went back in on the original after publication and added more of a glow to the moon(1993, pre-computer, with airbrush, paint, and prismacolor), the texture and definition is still there in the original, but more faint and does not show up in this scan. Vampirella is one of my favorite characters, was honored to do this cover! Thanks for asking--JKSIII
