Description

This is a great sketch by Marie Severin of Herb Trimpe as the Incredible Hulk. Trimpe once told me that he could identify with the Hulk on a lot of levels, and creators often put a lot of themselves into their work, so it is only logical that art would begin to imitate life. This is not only a nice sketch of the Hulk but a great likeness of Trimpe, lovingly rendered by Mirthful Marie. (Date unknown, but likely early 1970s.)
