Description

This was a belated Christmas gift from Kaitlyn out of the wish list options I'd put up for myself.

Amanda and Josh are the first ever "Goosebumps" protagonists from "Welcome to Dead House." Their family moves to the town of Dark Falls after being told they've inherited a house from a great uncle. Petey is their pet dog, and he tends to freak out whenever he's near any of the Dark Falls locals. It turns out this is because Petey, as well as all dogs, can recognize the people of Dark Falls are all dead. Petey gets killed off-page and by the time Amanda and Josh find him again, he's been turned.

Kaitlyn mentioned it always pissed her off how Amanda and Josh just happened to forget about Petey at the end of the book, saying it isn't his fault he was a zombie. I love that Kaitlyn knew this.
