And here she is. Read if bored, just art musings

A little about my thought process: When Im hired to do an exclusive cover, its usually for $$ purposes, Im not asked to draw a zoomed in shot of Deadpool, or the swamp thing, its the pin-up flare I seem to have, and in all honesty, its always fun. When its a landmark iss like this iss 50 and #Batman is getting hitched to #Catwoman, the stakes are higher and there's a lot of eyes on these cvr's and a LOT more talent joining in. I wanted to go with my artsy skills and show them both under #TheJokers spell and even an alter in the background, but lets face it, if this were a poster, most people wouldnt want to hang a dark haired man in a Tux, so #Batcowl it is, again, for sale purposes, it looks more striking (although unpractical, but so is being in the #JLA w/o powers) even for the average person looking at it, be it granny, or aunt May, which is always my goal.

His brooding #Dark mass against her soft edginess hits you right in the nerd balls, but I gave her a gentle touch on her thigh with his man paws to even it out. I wanted him to tower over her so that he could frame her entire body, but also keep him as an after thought and also looking down at her because he's mesmerized by her. Eliminating the chapel they couldve been standing in was done because it wouldve taken away from how amazing her dress is

Leyendeker inspired Alex Ross and he inspired my design of this piece and they both also chose a simple backdrop knowing the power of the size of the figures would carry the piece, so I kept it in kind, with a little help of my girly flowers, and with my friendly hatred of symmetry, I lop sided my flowers to avoid the repeated pattern that I feel I will never make peace with
