DescriptionMarvel Comics, 1998 - 11"x17" - Inks over original pencils.Synopsis: ...After getting ready for the gala, Reed goes down ahead of Ben and Alyssa hoping that he can learn more about how recent trans-dimensional happenings are having a strain on the fabric of reality. When he rounds the corner he finds all the guests have been rendered unconscious by Crucible... Seeing that Crucible has some kind of bomb, Reed slips into costume and attacks.... when Ben & Alissa arrive back at the gala, Crucible appears to have fled... Reed is among the rouble. Ben wakes him up and uses an uncharacteristic way of explaining how the battle went, saying that he beat their foe "real good"... Note about Alissa Moy: Reed glosses over his relationship with Alyssa here. However Reed and Alyssa actually had a very serious relationship to the point where Reed considered marrying her. She broke off their relationship years prior to the formation of the Fantastic Four. Intimate page with superstar team of Larroca & Thibert to manage Art. Damn elastic page!!! Social/Sharing |

I love this art team and the characters. Little trivia, when I just happened to be riding in an elevator with Chris Claremont, we briefly chatted and he asked if it was okay to use my last name for a new Asian character and he didn't want to use a more typical name you see out there. I said sure! Moy is actually a pretty common name in China. Happy to help! :)

Wow that’s awesome! Gotta be very few fans/collectors out there with that kind of story! And Emanuele, a great piece! Really like the perspective in that bottom left panel! Congrats!

Thanks for the long-story-short. We can say you're in the page. Well, not exactly you, but a more-or-less kinda of.
Lucky you met Chris in person: he is one of my youth heroes!
