My first purchase from Heritage Auctions and in my opinion a bit of a bargain. I absolutely loved Doug's work on The Mask and so a great page by him was definitely one of my collecting trails.
Doug Mahnke and Keith Williams Lobo/Mask #1 Story Page 13 Original Art (DC, 1997). The zany and insane anti-hero, the Mask, is turned into swiss cheese by a torrent of bullets and missiles in this comically absurd and violently over the top panel page that can only be described as "Smokin!" Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". There's light edge toning and production tape in the top and bottom margins. In Excellent condition.
