Description

Ron Wilson, consummate Thing artist, and all-around gentleman to his fans. I love the Thing, which means i love Ron Wilson. When I saw him at a con this year he said he'd lost count of how many thousands of "rocks" he's drawn over the years. If you ever meet Ron, he's a truly cool and humble guy (he credits legendary inker Joe Sinnott for making his art "better than it really was") and he's great to talk with about the history of artists at Marvel.

I asked him if he could draw ol' Ben Grimm in his bathrobe w/ his morning coffee...then i pushed it and asked him to draw one of my dogs in there too. Ron, a true pro, took it all in stride, drew everything i asked for and then some.

(*Bonus Art! On the flip side of this drawing was a sketch Ron had started of Skelator, from Masters of the Universe)
