DescriptionI've admired John Watson's work for some time. I first saw it in Aidan Lacy's Re-Legion collection and later in Miki Annamanthadoo's painting on the CAF .I was impressed by his feel for the Silver Age Legion and put him on my list for Kathy to consider for a gift. I included a list of some of my favorite villains and heroes. John chose the highlighted characters below. Villains that I “like” include: • Starfinger • Mordru • Fatal Five • Legion of Super-Villains (Saturn Queen, Cosmic King, and Lightning Lord) • Universo • Nardo My favorite Legionnaires include: • Mon-El • Shadow Lass • Brainiac 5 • Supergirl • Ultra Boy • Phantom Girl • Chameleon Boy • The Founders The rest I told her to leave up to John other than saying I really liked Miki's painting. For this Christmas, Kathy commissioned John. He completed it in plenty of time, but the mail service was slow so I got it today. That's okay; I get a longer Christmas this way.
