Description

The newest Georgi in my collection! The things this man does with color is amazing... just look at the glow on this woman's face! Unfortunately, there are some condition issues including a pretty nasty scrape across the subject's left collarbone. Might be worth getting touched up by a professional restorer. This appeared as the illustration for the story "Sometimes It Happens" from the November 1955 issue of Redbook. "Whoever beheld Rhia was filled with love." She certainly grabbed my attention!

Spot on about Georgi's use of color. Breaks so many rules and yet it works! Great piece. Congrats!
