Poi un riferimento molto interessante ai famosissimi lavori dell'illustratore statunitense, di loghi, titoli di testa e locandine di film, Saul Bass (1920-1996). John Doe è un mensile a fumetti italiano edito dall'Eura Editoriale tra il 2002 e il 2012. Gli ideatori della serie sono Roberto Recchioni e Lorenzo Bartoli, con il contributo di Massimo Carnevale per la caratterizzazione grafica dei personaggi e copertinista della serie, mentre tra i disegnatori vi sono Alessio Fortunato, Marco Farinelli e Walter Venturi, nonché Riccardo Burchielli (ora in prestito alla DC-Vertigo).
