DescriptionSOLD FOR $460.79!11-3/8x16-3/8" DC Comics artboard has pen and ink original art by Ernie Colón for page 31 of "Arak, Son Of Thunder" #31, published by DC in Nov. 1983. Page 31 served as an "Extra Bonus! An Action Pin-Up Of Arak, Son Of Thunder" by Arak's co-creator Colón. Art shows Arak on horseback, leaping into battle against armored foes, his bloodied axe having just removed the head of an adversary. Top margin has handwritten "Arak" title, issue/page numbers and upper right has title paste-over stat. Colón has signed at bottom right. Artboard has been trimmed at top and left margins, and bottom right corner has been clipped. Aged strip of white tape along bottom margin. Artboard is Fine/VF overall while art remains clean and Exc. overall. Social/Sharing |
