Description

Somehow my luck of collecting great Superman pieces of the Morrison/Porter continues.

I love how Superman finally is piecing things out. Narratively giving the reader an update about the powers and limitations of Martians- thankfully Batman figures this out a whole issue earlier!

As much as I love Howard Porter�s work, his early work is among my favorite examples. I love the angles of the faces in this pieces, as well as how energy and shadow are depicted as well. Add the lettering to convey movement and power, and you have an action packed piece!

Love this .. The first 4 issues were so good at introducing the team, setting up the dynamics .. Morrison at his best with the perfect partner in Howard Porter.
