Description

Thrilled to have found my first original Foss painting, originally commissioned for the cover of Brian W. Aldiss' novel "80 Minute Hour".

Beautiful yellows and shadowing work by Foss with a looming sci-fi city space in the background.

Aldiss was best known for science fiction novels and short stories. He received two Hugo Awards, one Nebula Award, and one John W. Campbell Memorial Award and wrote the short story "Super-Toys Last All Summer Long" (1969), the basis for the Stanley Kubrick-developed Steven Spielberg film A.I. Artificial Intelligence.
