Description

Here we have a set of five rough production drawings of Bumblebee, Spike and Sparkplug from the Pilot episode of the Transformers cartoon, "More than meets the Eye!". These Japanese drawings, produced by TOEI, show the different A, B & C layers used to create the different animated movement of the scene. Some Japanese Kanji symbols can be seen on some of the layers and the circle around the seguence numbers, A-1, B-1, C-1 etc, indicates that they were drawn by a senior animator. No circle indicates an "in-between" artist filled in the gaps with lesser detail.
