I've said it before and I'll say it again, I loved this series. It dealt with the interaction between man and machine at a time when that future was really entering my thoughts from multiple angles.

Plus, excellent and distinctive art from Cowan/Manley. The writing from McDuffie/Wright is great, and I really enjoyed the interactions with Computer.

The writing team brought lots of the Marvel Universes' top scientific minds and robotics experts into the series to help explore different aspects of Michael's transformation. Great appearances from Mr. Fantastic, Doom, Misty Knight, but there were also arcs with the Punisher and, in this case, Ghost Rider, which really helped explore Michael's struggle to stay human.

Lovely page from a fellow CAFer, many thanks! It's oversize, about 13" x 20" I'd guess, and the art looks great. Very pleased to have a Cowan in the collection now.

I also really like the layout of the art on the page, with the characters breaking the lines in the lower half.

Great example from a great run...and great description, too! The art on this series was distinctive and was the perfect look for this character and his settings. Both ‘90s fixtures looks awesome here and I totally agree about the subtle panel breaks - so effective. And oversized - must be a sight in person! Congrats!
