DescriptionSome of the hardest and most expensive cels to come by are anything G.I. Joe specifically from the Sunbow/Marvel production, Toei animated G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero cartoon from 1985. This master cel setup (original dual layer cels on matching background) comes from season 1's "The Viper is Coming" in which the Joe's have to catch a mysterious man known as the Viper. As a bonus it includes Snake Eyes which is seldom seen on an original cel. Social/Sharing |

Fantastic piece with several of my favorite characters! I saw that come and go on eBay a couple of months ago from toonmag56 and I was kicking myself for not making an offer fast enough. Glad it went to a good home where I can "visit" it. I especially like that you added a gif of the scene to show the cel in action, really helps show the cel in its context. Hunting down the production footage is one of my favorite parts of cel collecting - nice work!

Thanks and I agree, the hunting of the footage is a major part of my passion for cel collecting!
