Description

I started to get back in to comics in 2008 and 2009. I dove back in by picking up books with some of my favorite characters from when I was a kid. Shortly after I started to branch out into Image Comics and other indie books. The reboot of Prophet was one of my favorites, and it showed me what else comics could be and introduced me to several new (to me) artists.

I was lucky enough to get a few published pieces from Farel Dalrymple back then and I was excited when he offered these preliminary pages for a 6 page story. The story was never completed but these prelim pages were published in the back of the Prophet "Brothers" volume 2 trade paperback and featured the John Prophet with the tail that Farel designed.

Those chracter design pages are probably what you keyed in on! Pretty rare to see prelim pages like this on an Image book as a lot of the creativity of the story is planned out here.
