DescriptionBy far, this is one of my favorite pieces in my collection. You just gotta love Breyfogle's cape as Batman and Robin swing down into the Batmobile.Even as a youngster I could really see the talent in Chuck Dixon's writing. Here Batman is so far off his game that Robin is the one who points out that maybe some of the bad guys are looking out for them (with the bird following above). And Batman just brushes it off. Gotta love the nod to Anarky as well. Social/Sharing |

Such beautifully spotted blacks. I loved it when the scripts called for a long vertical or horizontal panel with Batman in it such as this one, which Norm often used to showcase gorgeous designs and shapes with Batman's cape!

Always a great accomplishment to nail any page from "Knightfall," and this one is spectacular. I do love that first tall vertical panel with the wonderful cape imagery, and also the bird whose wings connect the three panels together. Love that last panel of Batman & Robin. And like you say, it's interesting to see the deviating thought processes of the two caped crusaders.
