DescriptionIn 1977, I had my first exposure to the medium of comics when I acquired my first two issues off of a spinner rack: Captain America 212 and Flash 252. I was utterly transfixed by the way reality was casually intermingled with the grotesque (although the cover to the following issue has a far more horrifically grotesque image of the Flash. The 1970s were not kind to Barry and Iris). But why couldn't a human limb stretch like taffy over the span of ten feet? It made perfect sense in the context of the story. But then again, I was six.I'm still looking for the cover to the following issue as well... Social/Sharing |

I always love seeing Flash covers, and this is one of those examples from that era that just screams FUN!
