Description

Christos Gage wrestled with a difficult story in these four pages, as Striker confesses to Lightspeed that he is gay. As a child, Striker was the victim of sexual assault, and his abuser did lasting damage by making it even harder for our young hero to come to terms with his sexuality.

For me, the most valuable player here is inker Scott Hanna. Tom Raney's layouts give a sense of movement to what would otherwise be a static conversation, but it's Hanna's inks that really sell the story through the facial expressions. Hanna is one of the top inkers in the industry. Kudos.
