Description

Bruno Premiani: Classics Illustrated #156 "The Conquest of Mexico" Cover Original Art (Gilberton, 1960). This issue covered the brutal Conquest of Mexico by the Spaniards with attention paid to Cortez, Montezuma, and Bernal Diaz del Castillio. This fantastic battle-charged cover is gouache on illustration board with an image area of 15" x 21.5". Excellent condition.
