DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Auction #228 will open for bidding on October 15, 2019. 13.25x20.5" artboard has pen and ink original art by Jack Kirby (inked by Dick Ayers) for page 3 of "Strange Tales" #92, published by Marvel Jan. 1962. Art is from "The Thing Hunts For Me!" cover story and features seven panels showing woman boarder nervously watching her fellow boarders, noting one of them staring at her. She retreats to her room where she hears the old man next door pacing before he comes and urgently knocks on her door. Top margin has "Strange Tales" title and issue/page number in black ink. Kirby has signed in black felt tip pen at lower right beside large black felt tip pen page number. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Artboard has some lt. margin aging and handling wear, but art is o/w Exc. Social/Sharing |
