DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Auction #228 will open for bidding on October 15, 2019. 10-5/8x15.75" artboard has Ross Andru's pen and ink original art for page 6 of "Giant-Size Spider-Man" #3, published by Marvel Jan. 1975. Art was inked by Mike Esposito and features six panels, showing Spidey meeting Desinna, w/the webslinger mistaking her force field generator for a weapon. Spider-Man appears in all but one panel; w/first panel showing multiple images of him performing midair acrobatics. Top margin has stamped title and inked issue/page numbers. Top margin has been trimmed (not affecting art). Bottom margin has "The Deadly Hands Of Kung Fu" advertising paste-over strip taped in place. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Strips of tape staining to top/bottom center of front/back (not affecting art). Artboard has pin holes along margins and some scattered lt. staining to bottom corner of second panel but art is o/w clean and VF overall. Social/Sharing |
