Description

There are several great coming-out scenes in comics -- I display a few in other gallery rooms -- but the use of sign language has to make this one the most beautiful. Terrific work here by Nicola Scott. As always, I am fascinated by her use of a lightbox, and it's fun to see the preliminary sketch on the back of the board. A shout out to colorist Jeromy Cox. The colors in the published page are gorgeous.
