Description

Some heavy dialogue in this 1969 comic, with observations far more likely to be made in 1969, when this was printed, than in the 1940s, when it was set. A good example of how comics, like everything else, tend to reflect the period they are made, as much as, or more so, than the time in which they take place.

The next page would leave a lot of readers shocked and teary-eyed
