A great BP commission by Andrea Di Vito drawn at Facts.

Much like Claudio Castellini, Andrea’s strong John Buscema influence made him an obvious choice to request a Black Panther commission.

The result is a super badass BP. I love the somewhat crouching pose, like he is tense as cats are before jumping their prey. The anatomy is great despite the exaggerated trapezes that reinforce the big cat on the prowl feeling. The fact that he is drenched in shadows works particularly well too. And finally, I like that the muted backgrounds are there and fill the page nicely without being hindering to the eye. You first see the great, strong figure work, the use of light and then your eye discover the jungle all around.

Andrea was delighted by my character choice (which I explained to him) and the result is quite telling.

Oh, I like me some Di Vito BP! His stye, with the Buscema influence as you say, just works for the character. Great example here with the lean musculature and hunched pose. The tonal accents are also a nice touch! Congrats!
