Oh man, finally a nice page from the Thor run near and dear to my heart. I was buying these issues off the rack as a kid. My sweet spot was 87-92, with this issue coming out in 1990.
Wrecker realizing that taking on both Excalibur and Thor at the same time wasn�t going to end well, tried to use his "smahts�. He blasted Thor w his enchanted crowbar, making everyone think Thor was the Juggernaut. Like an episode of Three�s company, by the end of the story, the misunderstanding was resolved.

Always nice to pick up a page that you enjoyed growing up. Great cast of characters on this page. A rare moment when the wrecker used his "smahts". Fahget about it!

Right on, man! So much energy drama packed into Frenz's Thor pages! Congrats on picking up a nice example, and from a book you enjoyed as a kid! Hard to top high nolstalgia factor :)

Great page with a rare combination of nice characters (Excalibur in a Thor story..) from the extensive and very funny run by Franz with Tom DeFalco and varíous "old-school inkers" llike the great Joe S., Don Heck and Sal Buscema ! And Juggernaut and Wrecker are always nice to seen :)

Beautifully composed page! Frenz really knew how to tell a story. I love that top panel of the Wrecker pointing his crowbar at Thor. And that finally panel with the reveal of Thor looking like Juggernaut is fabulous! Great page!
