Superman is, and will forever be, my #1 favorite superhero. (ok, thanks to Chris Evans, Cap is REALLY close, but it's still Supes!) The last great Superman artist, at least when I regularly bought comics, was Ed McGuinness. From stories such as the giant "Our Worlds at War" to the first few issues of "Batman / Superman," and of course many issues of "Superman," I loved the powerful, muscular cartoon style he brought to comics. I'm very glad I was able to find a page which showcased so many key supporting characters, Lois AND Jimmy AND Lex AND Clark, while still giving me a nice clear shot of Superman. And Aquaman, too! 'this piece makes me happy every time I look at it.

McGuinness blew up on his Superman run and seeing pages like this it's not hard to see why! His exaggerated style was a great fit and nice shake up for the MoS for sure. Love the movement from panel 4 to the last! Congrats!
