DescriptionBlackwulf was not the greatest title ever nor even a great read. It ended at issue 10, not an easy thing do during the over populated and over published 90s when any mediocre Marvel or DC title would make it to issue 25 at least.But the art by the ever amazing Angel Medina was fantastic. I got the impression that since he co-created the serie and was on the project from the ground up, he gave it all his talent. Case in point, this incredible splash. Godstalker makes himself known to the hero! It’s a Kirby-esque design if I ever saw one, a feeling enhanced by the tons of great Kirby crackles that surround him. He is literally radiating energy. I like the over the top, over muscular pose as well. This one was on my ebay watch list for years when I decided to pull the trigger early this year. My second splash from that serie and it’s even better than the first one. Social/Sharing |
