Marvel 2011

During the Walt Simonson's two years run on the Fantastic Four, in only 3 issues (with Arthur Adams art), he was able to create one of the most emblematic arcs ever: the new Fantastic Four story (Fantastic Four #347-349).
Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ghost Rider (Danny Ketch) and Hulk (Mr. Fixit) becoming temporarily the NEW Fantastic Four, a great idea! A new kind of storytelling, funny concept, it´s one the arc that makes you want to read comics.
Paolo Rivera pays homage to that arc of stories with a painted cover that brings to mind that treasure of more than 30 years ago lost on the shelves.

Fantastic tribute to that memorable cover! Every single character is masterfully depicted (Wolvie's my favorite) and I like the way Rivera made Ghost Rider's flame the main light source.
