Description

Joe Prado and Eddie Wagner Catfight: Escape from Limbo #1 Unpublished Cover Original Art (Lightning Comics, 1996).

An unused cover for the Lightning Comics Catfight book. Toward the end of the 'bad girl' trend in independent comics, Lightning tried to capitalize creating numerous battling babe character-types, including the sword-slashing Catfight.

Here we have a version of the cover to Escape from Limbo #1, drawn by Joe Prado, which was shelved in favor of this image drawn by a different artist with only very slight changes. Rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image size of 10" x 15.25".

The board has a small tear on the right side edge, with some edge and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
