Description

Part 2 of the classic Demon in a Bottle story line. A great villain makes a great hero. While this is true, so does showing a personal weakness. Stark's ongoing internal struggle despite his wealth and intellect is one many can relate to

McDonnell and O'neil picked up on a great story arc that was established by Layton and Michelinie. While they have said they were just doing their job and alcohol was the enemy of the month, the story has grown overtime to one of Iron Man's most classic arcs allowing others to build on their memorable run.

The entire issue shows Tony facing the temptation of his greatest enemy, then finally giving in on this page. If only he drank out of the helmet!

We all too, share an addiction. Thank goodness our liquid of choice is ink on the paper.

Wow, JC, great example from a classic Iron Man, and Marvel in general, storyline. The storytelling/flow of the page from top to bottom really does exhibit Tony's struggle with this devious villain of the time. Congrats!
