Giacinto Gaudenzi, Cenerentola. Tecnica mista su cartoncino, cm 40x57.

Giacinto Gaudenzi was born in Cattolica in 1945.
In the 1960s he studies at the public school of Art in Urbino. He will later become an illustrator, cartoonist, engraver.
He works in Roma first and in Genova after working on the realization of short-films and animated advertising spots. Around 1975 he gets in touch with the comic world. He gets noticed by the big audience and the experts thanks to Italia�s story by Enzo Biagi (Mondadori). Then he makes �Storie di un Altro Evo� on Sgt. Kirk. For the �L�Eternauta� he draws �All�ombra dell Aquile�; funny, epic and horror adventures appear on other headlines. The circle is closed by the �L�Eterico Mutante for �Lo Scarabeo� around the 1980s. Now it�s time for more mature professional experiences.
Today his illustration is part of the most prestigious publishing: Fabbri, Bompiani, Mondadori, Giunti, De Agostini, Jaca Book, Gakken, Mc Donald Youg Books, etc., going from fantasy to romance, from educational to schooling. He realizes two decks of �Tarocchi� for �Lo Scarabeo�.
Gaudenzi lives in Montefeltro fields working with humbleness and professionalism, two aspects that characterize him.
