DescriptionHere is a moment of deep feelings for me.When I was younger in my 20s, I was an heavy miniature player. Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Battle and Confrontation. Confrontation was a French miniature game and a goddam good one. It almost compete with the giant Games Workshop at the time. A really tremendous honor for a foreign product. David vs Goliath ans somehow Rackahm did it. I got very involved in the game during that period. I created with a friend a national association, organizing competitions and tournament, meeting with the creators and so on. I made long time friends then, some were at my two weddings (yeah I'm divorced ;-)). This illustration was for a dwarf clan, probably the most beautiful dwarf miniatures at the time and still now. I remember having the litho sticked on the walls of my student room. And now that I'm older, I had the chance to get in touch with artist, Paul Bonner, a real living legend in the fantasy world, and he told me that illustrayion was available. Never ever ever ever dreamt it could be possible ! I jumped on it, sold my BWL to my great friend James S and boom it was possible. A teenager dream is coming true...never thought it would be possible. Life is funny sometimes ! Social/Sharing |

This is so good! Bonner always comes up with terrific environments and wonderful character faces, but this composition and lighting are exceptional and the mood is perfect!

This is amazing. I love Bonner's work, and he is a character in person.
