DescriptionAndrew illustrated a Obi-Wan Kenobi short story by Timothy Zahn, published in two parts in Star Wars Insider (#76 and 77) called Changing Seasons. These are the preliminary sketches Andrew did for the painted illustration that accompanied the first installment.I'm always interested seeing other artists their thinking process. These sketches are extra special to me since my son is named Obi. For fun I merged these two sketches in Photoshop. Took the best parts from both, enlarged them, added some tones and finished it up. The image printed up on a canvas now hangs in my son's room. :) The original painted piece is in the collection of fellow CAF member John Higashi. Social/Sharing |
