Description

"Titania Be Kind," Inked in 1935; 7 x 5.25 inches. One of the best of Finlay’s gorgeous black & white illustrations for Weird Tales editor Farnsworth Wright’s paperback adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream.” There was a total of 25 original pieces Finlay created for the book, all done in the artist's unmistakable style. “Titania Be Kind” is an illustration of Act 3 Scene 1 of Shakespeare’s work, and was the 13th plate in the book.
