Description

I am beyond excited to pick up my 6th page from Superman #269! The story, “The Secret of the Eighth Superman”, is perhaps my favorite D.C. story from my childhood! This 1973 comic was one of my first comics that I ever purchased when I was 7 years old! It is notable that the page came directly from the Murphy Anderson collection and had not been owned by anyone other than the inker since the book was originally published! Outside of the sentimental value of the page, the artwork is beautifully illustrated by one of the best tandems of the 1970s!

"Swanderson" still rules on Supes' for me and congrats for getting a childhood favorite art page( although this yarny is really weird, even for Bronze Superman/DC story standards :) ) !
