Description

A controversial piece that had already been printed, but pulled from distribution – this page tells the tragic story of Anole, Victor Borkowski, a mutant student at the Xavier Institute who in defending a same-sex kiss, revealed that he was gay, and faced rejection from his parents and his two best friends. With a broken heart, Anole commits suicide. This was meant to tell a powerful message about the importance of acceptance. Unfortunately, Marvel decided to redo the controversial storyline.
