DescriptionAMBUSH BUG from WHO'S WHO IN THE DC UNIVERSE #16 (page 55) by KEITH GIFFEN and AL GORDON (1992)Keith Giffen pencils, Al Gordon inks. This is from the 1992 binder edition of Who's Who in the DC Universe. Ambush Bug's bio appears as the very last page of the very last issue of this series. The gag is that he has been the guy dressing up as all the other heroes for their Who's Who photo shoots. The bio describes the most commonly-accepted origin story, that of Brum-El and the cosmic laundry and Irwin Schwab's decision to become a super-hero. BUG FACT: His height is listed as 1" to 9", depending on the size of the panel. Social/Sharing |

This is so cool. Love seeing these Who's Who pieces, and of course love Giffen.

Some of the coolest art I ever did was Agents of Law, in which Keith wrote and did breakdowns! What a mega talent of writing and artistry that he is!!
