Original art page from Genius 1969-70 n.20 page 86.
This original art work is very intersting because it is the first time that Milo Manara sign alone a published work in his career, and that he try to create a new a sign style with "cartouche" solution with his name "MI-LO" wich later it will become his definitive sign cartouche with surname "MA-NA-RA".
Here he draw Steve McQueen actor as he looked in the famous movie poster of "Bullit" movie 1968 American action-thriller and he will draw again S.McQueen many years later with Valentino Rossi in the comic book and comic-film "Quarantasei" in the 2006-7, and he made also an illustration for the Valentino's official race helmet with S.McQueen and Enzo Ferrari on the opposite side.

Questa tavola originale è molto interessante perché è la prima volta che Milo Manara firma da solo un'opera pubblicata nella sua carriera e che cerca di creare un nuovo stile di firma con la tipica soluzione a "cartiglio" con il suo nome "MiLo" che in seguito diventerà il suo cartiglio definitivo con il cognome "MA-NA-RA".
Qui disegna l'attore Steve McQueen nel famoso poster del film "Bullit" film americano del thriller d'azione del 1968 e disegna nuovamente S.McQueen molti anni dopo con Valentino Rossi nel film comico "Quarantasei" nel 2006- 7, e fece anche un'illustrazione per il casco ufficiale da gara di Valentino con S.McQueen ed Enzo Ferrari sul lato opposto.
